We received a request from a chemical plant stating, "We would like to transfer wastewater containing high concentrations of phosphoric acid from the process storage tank using a submersible pump." Since they prefer a solution without major construction and with a float switch on a 100V single-phase system, we proposed our corrosion-resistant submersible pump model LC-251-S. They mentioned that a flow rate of about 10L/min would be sufficient, but since the pump is somewhat over-spec, we suggested adjustments using a discharge-side valve. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - They want to transfer wastewater containing high concentrations of phosphoric acid from the process storage tank using a submersible pump. - The currently used submersible pump quickly suffers from impeller corrosion and failure due to acid. ■ Proposal - Adopt our corrosion-resistant submersible pump model LC-251-S. - Since the pump is somewhat over-spec, we suggested adjustments using a discharge-side valve. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Automatic pH neutralization treatment of pickling wastewater! We have adopted a corrosion-resistant submersible pump (automatic control).

We received an inquiry from Company F, a steelworks in Saga Prefecture, after they viewed our website, stating that "the scale of acid washing has increased, and we would like to automatically neutralize the wash water from the subsequent process." Upon discussing their needs, we learned that currently, after acid washing, they are washing with water near a drainage ditch, which is very inefficient. They expressed a desire to create a pit for washing and to place a neutralization device within that pit. Therefore, we proposed a collection pit and pit size to allow for washing after acid treatment within the pit and to pump the water directly to the neutralization device. Additionally, since the wastewater before neutralization is acidic and would corrode a standard submersible pump, they opted for a corrosion-resistant submersible pump (with automatic control). With the expansion of pickling scale, we are considering efficiency improvements! The ability to handle design and construction as a package is highly valued.
